Dr. Milena Bobeva (@milenabobeva): Milena is a Framework Leader for the Business & Management undergraduate programmes at the Business School in Bournemouth University. She has actively exploited and promoted the use of contemporary information and communication technologies as an enabler for effective performance. Her background in business information systems management has underpinned her professional and research practice in the area of educational enhancement, and business process improvement.
Milena is a member of the Teaching Excellence group within the HEA and the Chartered Management Institute. Her work in supporting student learning has been recognised through the BU award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and BU Learning and Teaching Fellowship.
David Hopkins (@hopkinsdavid): David is an experienced Learning Technologist at Bournemouth University and has been working in the Business School and other departments on the implementation of emerging technologies, including QR Codes, in learning materials, library resources, etc. David has gained an international reputation through his blogging and twitter activity on the implementation and utilisation of technology in various learning environments.
David became a Fellow of the HEA after he completed the Bournemouth University Postgraduate Certificate in Education Practice, and is active with the Association of Learning Technology, eAssessment Association, and Learning & Skills Network. David has received accolades and commendations for his contribution to learning technology including nominations to the International Edublog Awards.
Andy Ramsden (@andyramsden): Andy Ramsden is the e-Learning Development Manager at the University Campus Suffolk, and manages the Elevate Team. He has been researching, publishing and presenting on the effective design of location aware learning activity for many years. A particular emphasis is on the possibilities of using QR Codes as low threshold applications for staff to develop their location aware activities. The Elevate Team at UCS have been exploring the use of QR Codes in a range of learning activities, including the development of a QR Code formative e-assessment engine.
Previous to this post he was the Head of e-Learning at the University of Bath, and the VLE Operational Manager at the University of Bristol.
